November 23, 2012: CDP News

We've almost reached the end of a holiday-shortened week, but we've still got time for a roundup of this week's happenings in our latest CDP news entry. This upcoming Monday, Nov. 26, is the final day to register for our last week-long training, Addressing the Psychological Health of Warriors and Their Families, of the year. The training is going to take place in Blacksburg, Va. from Dec. 3-7. If you're interested in attending, sign up quick!

If you or someone you know is interested in working for the CDP, we've got a couple of open positions at our headquarters, including an opening for a Curriculum Development Coordinator, Military Programs as well as a Cognitive Processing Therapy Trainer. Visit our Jobs section for more information about these opportunities.

As we mentioned last time around, we've recently expanded our slate of self-paced, online courses. We added new courses on suicide anddepression in Veterans. As with all our courses, they're available to take for free or with Continuing Education credits for a fee.

This week's Staff Voices column featured Dr. Diana Dolan taking a look at the effects that leaving military service can have on an individual. It's a very interesting read. Check it out here.

Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving and has an even better weekend! See you next week.
