October 26, 2012: CDP News

As we wrap up another week, it’s time for the latest batch of news from around the CDP. Several of our staff spent the week in Salt Lake City for the latest version of our 1-week training course, “Addressing the Psychological Health of Warriors and Their Families.” Big thanks to them and all of the participants for a great session!

If you’re interested in attending one of these trainings, we’ve got one more opportunity coming up before the end of the year. We’ll be headed for Blacksburg, VA December 3-7th. We’ve also recently posted our tentative schedule for the markets we’re planning on visiting in 2013. So check it out and start planning on joining us now!

Speaking of upcoming events, Dr. David Riggs, executive director of the CDP will be headed to the University of South California to deliver a presentation on Prolonged Exposure Therapy on Oct. 27-28. Then next Wednesday, Oct. 30, our UC4 team will be at the University of California Davis.

On the employment front, we've got a couple of open positions at the CDP headquarters, including an opening for a Curriculum Development Coordinator, Military Programs as well as a Cognitive Processing Therapy Trainer. Visit our Jobs section for more information about these and other opportunities here.

That’s all for now. Have a great weekend everyone and we’ll see you back here next week!
