Mental Health issues among vets increase dramatically

A new study published in the American Journal of Public Health finds the number of vets with mental health issues rising steadily.

If the published data holds true we could ultimately have well over 300,000 veterans needing mental health services in the coming decades.  Many of these veterans will seek treatment in the VA some will, for a variety of reasons, seek care from their local providers.  The Center for Deployment Psychology is commited to training DoD, VA and civilian mental health providers in the important competencies needed to work with the men and women of our Armed Services.
