This webinar provides an introduction to understanding chronic pain conditions in patients from a behavioral health perspective. It discusses theories about the development of chronic pain, prevalence rates of chronic pain, and chronic pain issues specific to the military. It also provides an overview of the role of the behavioral health provider in addressing chronic pain, to including a brief overview of screening and an evidence-based treatment approach.
