The percentage of Veterans who meet "the criteria for an insomnia disorder," according to a new commentary article in the Journal of Clinical Sleep Medicine -- Insomnia in Primary Care: Misreported, Mishandled, and Just Plain Missed. Approximately 10% meet those criteria in the general U.S. population (although a related article gives a range of 4% to 22%).

The percentage of military treatment facilities (MTFs) that offer complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) services, according to a recent report from the RAND Corporation -- Complementary and Alternative Medicine in the Military Health System. The most common services offered are relaxation therapy, acupuncture, progressive muscle relaxation, guided imagery, and chiropractic.

The percentage of the armed forces comprising officers, according to a new "In Focus" report from the Congressional Research Service (CRS) -- Military Officers. The report explains the rank structure of the military and breaks it down by service branch. An "In Focus" report on Military Enlisted Personnel was released by the CRS at the same time.
