CDP Presents: Military-Connected Children and I Serve 2 online via Zoom

Description: I Serve 2: A Pocketcard for Healthcare Providers Caring for Military Children was developed by APRNs and researchers who care for military children. This presentation will provide guidance for utilization in clinical practice to better identify physical, psychological, and behavioral health risk factors and co-morbidities in military-connected children.
In addition, the I Serve 2: A Pocketcard for Healthcare Providers Caring for Military Children provides providers with community resources aimed at supporting military-connected children and families. The pocketcard will serve as a valuable resource for all providers who care for military connected children and families.

Target Audience: For behavioral health/healthcare providers who treat military personnel, Veterans, and their families.

After this webinar participants will be able to:
- Differentiate physical, psychological, and behavior health risks and co-morbidities of military-connected children.
- Utilize the I Serve 2: A Pocketcard for Healthcare Providers Caring for Military Children in clinical practice to identify and screen military-connected children.
- Appraise community resources available to civilian healthcare providers caring for military-connected children.
This course will be presented via Zoom teleconferencing software. Zoom is browser-based, however an add-in may need to be installed before attending. Participants can test their computer's capabilities by clicking here (or visiting https://zoom.us/test). We recommend those using Internet connections on government or military locations test their ability to load Zoom in advance of the event to ensure there are no technical difficulties. Microphones and webcams are not necessary, but you will need a computer with working speakers or headphones. If you encounter connection difficulties when using your computer, the Zoom app is also available for iOS and Android devices.
