The Center for Deployment Psychology (CDP) trains military and civilian behavioral health professionals to provide high-quality, culturally-sensitive, evidence-based behavioral health services to military personnel, Veterans and their families. Training for Military ProvidersCDP provides in-depth training on deployment spectrum issues facing our Service members, their families, and providers. |

Speakers BureauCivilian groups and organizations that would like to have a CDP staff member present at their next meeting or conference are invited to visit this section for more information. |
Evidence Based WorkshopsMobile 2-3 day workshops held at military bases which teach evidence-based psychotherapies (PE, CPT, suicide prevention, CBT-I, etc.) to military/DoD/GS audiences. |
Online TrainingIn an effort to reach as many providers as possible, CDP offers frequent live events on numerous topics, including our multi-day EBP training, through online platforms. |
Self-Paced eLearningThe CDP has developed a variety of self-paced modules to help behavioral health providers care for Service members, Veterans, and their families. These courses are available for free or for CEs for a fee. |
Certificate ProgramCDP partners with the National Council to offer the Serving Our Veterans Behavioral Health Certificate program, an self-paced online program. |
The Summer InstituteA five-day course for third- or fourth- year doctoral students in psychology who anticipate applying for a military internship, which will strengthen trainees’ backgrounds in preparation for an internship and career serving the military population. |
Star Behavioral Health ProvidersCDP, the National Guard, the MFRI at Purdue and local organizations in several states have partnered to design a program to heighten the expertise of clinicians interested in treating Service members and Veterans. |
