CDP Presents: Psychological Interventions in Pain Management online via Zoom

24 October, Noon to 1:30 p.m. Eastern

Description: The aims of this program are to review chronic pain education and common treatment pathways. More specifically, evidence-based approaches to understanding and treating chronic pain will be provided. Talking tips for use with patients regarding education and recommended treatment approaches will be covered throughout the presentation. A case, which will exemplify the learning objectives, will be included in the presentation.

Learning Objectives:
After this webinar participants will be able to:

  1. Explain the biopsychosocial and evidence-based approach to chronic pain
  2. Employ communication tools to improve work with patients
  3. Determine how to incorporate evidence-based approaches into practice​

System Requirements:
This course will be presented via Zoom teleconferencing software. Zoom is browser-based, however an add-in may need to be installed before attending. Participants can test their computer's capabilities by clicking here (or visiting https://zoom.us/test). We recommend those using Internet connections on government or military locations test their ability to load Zoom in advance of the event to ensure there are no technical difficulties. Microphones and webcams are not necessary, but you will need a computer with working speakers or headphones. If you encounter connection difficulties when using your computer, the Zoom app is also available for iOS and Android devices.
