CDP Presents: Healing Racial Trauma: Strategies for Children, Teens, and Their Family via Zoom
5 April 2023, Noon to 1:30 p.m. Eastern
Description: Discrimination, racism, and oppression are embedded in our nation’s history and, unfortunately continue to be seen and felt in our present society as well. Youth, like the rest of us, are impacted by what they see, hear, read, and experience. The impact of racial trauma can have lasting effects on youth if not addressed. In this presentation, we will discuss ways to identify signs of racial trauma in youth as well as strategies to alleviate the impact of racial trauma.
Please note: While registration is slated to end once the webinar begins on 5 April, space in this event is limited and registration will close once capacity has been reached, even if this is before the final registration date.
Target Audience: For behavioral health/healthcare providers who treat military personnel, veterans, and their families.
To access the course, on the day of the event, log into your account here: https://deploymentpsych.ce21.com/Account/MyAccount and click on the green "Launch Webinar" button.
