The VA/DoD Clinical Practice Guidelines are a series of resources intended to facilitate improved patient outcomes and local management of patients with relevant diagnoses. This presentation will introduce participants to the recently released and updated VA/DoD Clinical Practice Guidelines for Post-traumatic Stress Disorder and Acute Stress Reaction. The presenter, a member of the working group that reviewed and updated this document, will review the new CPG and highlight key revisions and changes in the updated version. Effective methods for applying and integrating the current guidelines into clinical practice will also be discussed.
