The Center for Deployment Psychology (CDP) is offering a full-day workshop on the fundamentals of Serving Student Veterans on Campus for those working with Service members and Veterans. The workshop will be held online via Zoom teleconferencing software, 25 June 2019, 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Eastern. Space in this event is limited and registration will close when capacity is reached, even if this is before the final registration deadline.
This full-day core competency program is designed to address cultural and clinical concerns of Veterans and Service members on a university or college campus. The program presents a comprehensive overview of the experience of student Veterans and Service members, and includes challenges during deployment and reintegration on campus, campus outreach strategies, and culturally competent treatment approaches.
Registration for the course is $30 and comes with 7 CEs. (Please note the refund policy at the bottom of the page.) This course will be held online through Zoom.
Behavioral healthcare providers are eligible to receive CEs upon successful completion of a post-training survey and knowledge evaulation. CEs for partial participation will not be awarded. Please be sure to check the requirements for your state and retain any documentation associated with the training. CMEs for medical providers or psychiatrists are not available.
