Catherine Rizzuto
Catherine Rizzuto is a Clinical Research Coordinator II with the Henry Jackson Foundation, collaborating with the Center for Deployment Psychology (CDP). She joined CDP in January 2026 and primarily supports studies focused on Mental Health, Emotional, Developmental, and/or Behavioral (MEDB) outcomes.
Catherine holds an M.S. in Neuroscience from Wake Forest University, an M.A. in Psychology from New York University, and dual bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Opera Performance from the College of Charleston.
Prior to joining CDP, Catherine served as a Clinical Research Coordinator in neonatology at UNC Chapel Hill, where she helped manage a national, multisite biorepository for necrotizing enterocolitis in premature infants. Earlier in her career, she worked as a Program Coordinator with the Henry Jackson Foundation in collaboration with the Center for Rehabilitation Sciences Research (CRSR). In that role, she supported multiple studies related to traumatic brain injury (TBI) and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), including clinical trials involving Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation and projects within the Concussion Assessment, Research, and Education (CARE) Consortium.
