Claudaya Stephan, MS
Claudaya Stephan, MS is a Research Coordinator for the Center for Deployment Psychology (CDP) at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences (USUHS) in Bethesda, Maryland, having joined CDP in 2024. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Brandeis University in Waltham, MA, and a Master of Science in Educational Studies with a Certificate in Mind, Brain, & Teaching from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD.
While an undergrad, her general research interests spanned the differential impact of trauma and other environmental factors on child development. During graduate school, her research focused on disparity, trauma, and education, precisely how the environment can differentially shape educational outcomes along the axis of race as a byproduct of systemic inequalities.
