Justin Tash, MSW
Justin Tash, MSW is a Military Behavioral Health Social Worker at the Center for Deployment Psychology (CDP) at the Uniformed Services University for the Health Sciences in Bethesda, Maryland and the Project Lead/Instructor and for the Prevention of Harmful Behaviors in the Military Project. Mr. Tash completed his Bachelor of Arts in Communications at Texas A&M University back in 2015 and his Masters of Social Work at the University of South Florida in 2025. He is now working toward the goal of becoming a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
Prior to joining CDP, Mr. Tash was an Officer in the U.S. Air Force where he served as an aviator and finished his career as a Captain and a Combat Systems Officer and Navigator on the EC-130 Compass Call. During his military service, he also worked as a Volunteer Victims Advocate for the Sexual Assault Prevention and Response Office where he supported individuals who suffered through sexual assaults and suicidal ideations and attempts. Mr. Tash continues his work in these areas at CDP and hopes to throughout his career in the mental health field.
As a military veteran and growing up in a military family, Mr. Tash understands the lifestyle and has a deep knowledge of the systems and realities of service which informs his work at CDP.
