Description: This component of the CDP Sleep Curriculum will take you on a guided tour of the Snoozeum, taking approximately 1 hour, a virtual environment in Second Life designed as a museum of sleep-related information and interactive exhibits. You will be asked to complete items assessing your learning after engaging in several exhibits that specifically focus on determining a differential diagnosis and implementing stimulus control and sleep restriction, to include the use of sleep logs.
Learning Objectives:
- Diagnose at least four different sleep disorders based on information gathered during a semi-structured sleep-focused clinical interview.
- Assess sample sleep logs both at baseline prior to initiation of treatment and during treatment for sleep parameters and problematic sleep schedule patterns.
- Simulate an interaction with a patient to prescribe a new sleep schedule
