Welcome to the Snoozeum: Guided Tour

Description: This component of the CDP Sleep Curriculum will take you on a guided tour of the Snoozeum, taking approximately 1 hour, a virtual environment in Second Life designed as a museum of sleep-related information and interactive exhibits. You will be asked to complete items assessing your learning after engaging in several exhibits that specifically focus on determining a differential diagnosis and implementing stimulus control and sleep restriction, to include the use of sleep logs.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Diagnose at least four different sleep disorders based on information gathered during a semi-structured sleep-focused clinical interview.
  2. Assess sample sleep logs both at baseline prior to initiation of treatment and during treatment for sleep parameters and problematic sleep schedule patterns.
  3. Simulate an interaction with a patient to prescribe a new sleep schedule
