This 90-minute webinar will review the use of telehealth when providing suicide prevention-focused care. The training will include coverage of theories of suicide, and research related to telehealth in general. Additionally, the topic of risk assessment, and how this may differ in a virtual environment will be covered. Barriers to implementation via telehealth, and mitigation strategies will also be addressed. Other topics that will be covered include cultural and population-specific considerations when offering telehealth services.
