Women are joining the United States military at an unprecedented rate as their roles in military service are expanded. In recent years, military women have had increased opportunities in deployment and career advancement. However, women Service members continue to face unique challenges, including higher rates of military sexual trauma, specific deployment-related medical concerns, gender-based discrimination, and family stressors.
This webinar provides an overview of the challenges related to anger, including prevalence rates, contributing factors, and clinical implications. Participants will be equipped with the suggested strategies for assessment and treatment of problematic anger in Service members and Veterans.
