This 90-minute (75-minutes didactics, 15-minutes Q&A) webinar aim to define grief and adaptation to loss and to describe complicated grief treatment, including why this approach is relevant for military-connected patients. The presenter will provide practical strategies that providers and organizations can use to address complicated grief in a trauma-informed way. The presenter will identify “best practices” for complicated grief treatment across a range of disciplines and specialties, and discuss ways to implement these practices in a way that is culturally-competent for military-connected patients.
