Although military families are extremely resilient, unique issues such as deployment, relocation, and injury can challenge the family system. This workshop will provide an overview of military stressors that can impact a family system as well as the common reactions that children and adolescents may display. Coming from a strength-based perspective, participants will explore how to build treatment plans around key coping skills and provide therapeutic interventions that are tailored to this unique population.
