Originally presented 19 June 2019

It will provide clinicians a way to conceptualize PTSD-related nightmares and an overview of the various assessment and treatment options available.

Learning Objectives:

  • Describe the prevalence of nightmares among patients with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and their association with other problems.
  • Appraise methods of assessing PTSD-related nightmares .
  • Provide an overview of two treatment techniques to target PTSD-related nightmares .
