Safiya Fatima Ahmed, MHA
Safiya Fatima Ahmed, MHA, is a Project Coordinator at the Center for Deployment Psychology (CDP), a Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences (USUHS) center in Bethesda, Maryland. She works on the Star Behavioral Health Providers program (SBHP).
Ms. Ahmed received a Bachelor of Science in Health Administration with a concentration in Health Systems Management in 2020. She also recently received her Master’s in Health Administration through a Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Management Education (CAHME) program from George Mason University in 2023.
Prior to joining the Henry M. Jackson Foundation, Safiya worked in the Patient Access department at Inova Health System for 4 years and 6 months. Throughout her time at Inova, Safiya enjoyed assisting patients with their concerns, learned the importance of empathy, and aimed to provide high-quality care.
