This webinar provides an introduction to understanding chronic pain conditions in patients from a behavioral health perspective. It discusses theories about the development of chronic pain, prevalence rates of chronic pain, and chronic pain issues specific to the military. It also provides an overview of the role of the behavioral health provider in addressing chronic pain, to including a brief overview of screening and an evidence-based treatment approach. The webinar is led by Dr, Diana Dolan, an EBP Trainer at CDP.
The Center for Deployment Psychology will be presenting a webinar on "The Acquisition and Role of Resilience for the Warrior." This one-hour Resilience Webinar will provide a military-focused overview of resilience. The webinar will be led by Laura Copland, Senior PTSD Treatment Training at the CDP with an hour of instruction and additional time for a question-and-answer period.
