This 90-minute webinar reviews the intersection of chronic pain and opioid use and misuse in the military. It details evidence based treatments for both conditions, including the limited efficacy and risks inherent in treating chronic pain with opioids and the importance of medication-assisted treatments (MATs) for managing opioid use disorder. Viewers will learn evidence-based screening for opioid use disorder and how to best manage patients with opioid use disorder and/or chronic pain.
