A recent study highlights new potential complications from traumatic brain injury. In addition to the already known symptoms and dangers of concussions and mTBI, research published in the Canadian Medical Journal suggests that they may significantly increase the later risk of suicide.

The percentage of Veterans who do not have Internet access, according to a recent report by the RAND Corporation -- Resources and Capabilities of the Department of Veterans Affairs to Provide Timely and Accessible Care to Veterans. This population -- which skews older -- cannot take advantage of VA digital services such as the My HealtheVet portal or VA Telehealth. However, the report points out, " As younger Veterans age, Internet access and technological skill are likely to grow more common among Veterans, thereby increasing the acceptability and accessibility of digital health care services."
