The percentage of active duty female service members of childbearing age (17-49) who were using "Short-Acting Reversible Contraceptives (SARCs)" -- oral contraceptive, patch, vaginal ring, injection -- in 2021, according to a recent Congressional Research Service Report: Defense Health Primer: Selected Contraceptive Services.

22.4% were using "Long-Acting Reversible Contraceptives (LARCs)" -- intrauterine device, implantable rod, "followed by surgical sterilization (3.0%), counseling only (2.1%), and emergency contraception (1.1%).
