The percentage of the nation's medical schools that teach military culture, according to a recent article in Army Times, Building cultural bridges between doctors, troops.
The article points out that just 36% of veterans are treated at Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) medical centers; the rest are seen by civilian doctors, who also see millions of military family members.
