CDP News: January 11, 2013

Happy Friday everyone! Once again we're here to wrap up the week with the latest happenings in and around CDP. The holidays are over and we're back on the road training at locations around the country. It's a busy time for our University Counseling Center Core Competency (UC4) program, which is just how we like it!  Our brand new UC4-e program kicked off with a session at San Diego State University yesterday and today. This new program is designed to build upon the foundations laid in our initial UC4 training and provide an opportunity for university counseling staff to learn evidence-based psychotherapies, such as PE or CPT. The program is off to a good start and we look forward to holding more iterations at various colleges and universities. Visit the UC4 section for more information about these programs.

Speaking of our UC4 program, we also took a trip to upstate New York to hold a training at Syracuse University on Tuesday. Next week we'll be headed to the University of California -  Berkeley, as well as the University of Maryland - College Park.

If you haven't already, head over to our Staff Voices section to read an excellent piece By Dr. Anthony McCormick on "New Experiences, New Perspective - Improving Therapy Outcomes".

Finally, as a reminder, on Monday, for those who have attended a CDP training, we'll be holding our weekly consultation call. These calls are a chance to talk with an expert on any questions you may on on PE/CPT. For more information, log into the Provider Portal section and click on "Consultation".

That's it for this time around. Have a great weekend and see you next week!
