CDP News: January 25, 2013
Happy Friday everyone! Let's celebrate it with another edition of CDP News and take a look at the latest happenings in and around the Center for Deployment Psychology. It was a bit of a short week, but that didn't slow us down much. First up, we just opened up registration for our first week-long training of the year. "Addressing the Psychological Needs of Warriors and Their Families" will be held March 11-15 in Phoenix, AZ. Space in these training events is limited, so if you're interested, register today! It's the first one of the year, but we'll be adding additional locations as our training schedule finalizes, so keep checking back.
Speaking of training events, last Friday we had a great UC4 session at the University of Maryland College Park. We'd like to thank all the participants and presenters for making it such a success.
If you haven't already, take a look at Dr. Anthony McCormick's Staff Voices entry from this week. It's the second part of his discussion on how providing a psychophysiological education to clients can help improve therapy. The first part is located here. Also, this week's Research Update is full of great stuff, as always.
That's it for now and have a great weekend everyone!
