Welcome to the weekly announcements section of the CDP's blog! Here we'll present a quick run down of items of interest for the past week, as well as those coming up.

First up, as part of our effort to train and educate behavioral health professionals members of the CDP staff often speak at conferences and professional gatherings. We've got a couple of those coming up next week. On Tuesday, April 10th, Dr. Holly O'Reilly will be presentingMilitary 101: Working with Families, Coordinating with Mental Health Communities at 5th annual Mississippi School for Addiction Professionalsin Hattiesburg, MS. Then on Saturday, April 14th, Dr. Ted Bonar will be delivering a talk entitled Serving our Veterans: Clinical and Cultural Competency at National Council for Community Behavioral Healthcare in Chicago, IL.

Next up, the CDP's week-long training in St. Louis, MO is filling up rapidly. The final day for online registration will be Friday, April 20th. For more information or to register for this training, please click here.

Finally, a quick word about our new blog. Take a look at some of the content we've posted over the past few days. Hopefully, you'll find some interesting and useful information in there, but we also want to know what other types of content you'd like to see. So if there are other issues you're curious about or want to see covered, let us know! Logged in members of the Provider Portal can add a comment to any post or just send us an email with your ideas.

That's it for this time around. Have a great weekend and see you next week!
