CDP News: January 18, 2013

Welcome back for another session of CDP News. Our UC4 program continues to be quite active. The new UC4-e  program held a quite successful PE training last Thursday and Friday. Then this week we visited the University of California at Berkeley and today we’re holding another session at the University of Maryland’s College Park campus. This program has been quite well received by both participants and host universities. We’re doing what we can to expand the program to help meet the demand from various counseling centers.

CDP News: January 11, 2013

Happy Friday everyone! Once again we're here to wrap up the week with the latest happenings in and around CDP. The holidays are over and we're back on the road training at locations around the country. It's a busy time for our University Counseling Center Core Competency (UC4) program, which is just how we like it!  Our brand new UC4-e program kicked off with a session at San Diego State University yesterday and today. This new program is designed to build upon the foundations laid in our initial UC4 training and provide an opportunity for university counseling staff to learn evidence-based psychotherapies, such as PE or CPT.

CDP News: January 4, 2013

Welcome back from the holidays! Hopefully everyone's new year is off to a good start. It's back to work for all of us here at the CDP. The new year bring a new slate of training opportunities as we head back out on the road again. Next Tuesday we kick things off with our UC4 program in Syracuse, New York. We've also got our first UC4 Extended program, focusing on PE, on the 10th and 11th of January at San Diego State University.

Happy holidays and welcome to this week’s edition of CDP News! Before we take off for Christmas, we’ve got a few things to cover.  First up, today is the final day to register for the CDP’s inaugural UC4-e program to be held at San Diego State University, January 10-11. This session will focus on providing training in Prolonged Exposure Therapy to individuals who have previously participated in our UC4 program. If you can’t make it to this one, we’ve got other events on the calendar and we’ll be adding more in the future. Keep an eye on our UC4-e page to stay up to date on our current schedule.
