The number of adults ages 18+ in the U.S. who "thought seriously about trying to kill themselves in the  past 12 months," according to a recently released report from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration -- Suicidal Thoughts and Behavior among Adults:  Results from the 2014 National Survey on Drug Use and Health (PDF).

The amount "obligated" in FY 2014 by the Department of Defense (DOD) for roughly "650,000 servicemember PCS moves," according to a recent report by the Government Accountability Office (GAO) -- Military Compensation: DOD Needs More Complete and Consistent Data to Assess the Costs and Policies of Relocating Personnel. PCS -- Permanent Change of Station -- "is a key tool used by the military services to fill assignments both in the United States and overseas."
